Position Summary

Shift: Full Time/Part Time
Day Shift; Mon-Fri 8:00AM-4:30PM

Salary: $19+/hr (dependent on experience)

The Firefighter reports directly to the Fire Captain and is a member of a team
of fire professionals that work together to carry out daily activities of the fire
station, including; responding to emergency fire and medical alarms, inspecting
grounds and equipment and performing necessary maintenance, recordkeeping,
and preparing necessary reports.

Qualifications

Candidates should be self-motivated with the ability to receive direction and
effectively carry out functions as described above. Successful candidates will be
expected to work effectively in a team setting and prioritize daily tasks.
Candidates should obtain written, verbal and interpersonal communication
skills and are required to perform in physically demanding and high stress
situations.

Minimum Requirements

Highschool Diploma or Equivalent

NC Firefighter Certification with 1-3 Years Experience in Fire Service

(NFPA FF I&II, 2013 Edition, IFSAC, or Pro Board accredited)

NC Medical Responder (NC EMT Preferred)

NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800
