Pinnacle Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department issues a burn permit to anyone that wants to obtain one for any legal fire. If you are a citizen of our fire district, you may come by the station anytime between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and one of the staff members will be glad to write you a permit.
Also, be aware that the fire department’s primary mission is to respond to emergency calls. With that being said, there may be times where all staff members are on an emergency call and not at the station to greet you. The duration of time that fire department personnel are gone varies significantly depending on the circumstance, so please make note of this when visiting the fire department.
Burn permits can also be submitted electronically through the North Carolina Forest Service website. You can access this website by clicking on the NC Forest Service patch, located below. The NC Forest Service website allows you to fill out and print off burn permits electronically.
