MINIMUM SELECTION STANDARDS FOR FIREFIGHTER

At least 21 years of age
High School Graduate/or GED
United States citizenship
Possess a valid Class B driver’s license (or Class A)
Pass a criminal background check & Drug test
Safe driving record
NC Firefighter II certification or Current Standard
NC EMT-Basic (or higher, will function at Basic level)
