Paid Firefighting

MINIMUM SELECTION STANDARDS FOR FIREFIGHTER
- At least 21 years of age
- High School Graduate/or GED
- United States citizenship
- Possess a valid Class B driver’s license (or Class A)
- Pass a criminal background check & Drug test
- Safe driving record
- NC Firefighter II certification or Current Standard
- NC EMT-Basic (or higher, will function at Basic level)
